What is the purpose of MUCFA​

To assist and advise the DNRC on UCF program issues, concerns and opportunities

To promote and encourage public awareness, education and volunteerism.

To cultivate cooperation among agencies, groups and individuals.

To advise Montanas and their local, state and federal officials on urban forestry issues, concerns and opportunities.

To encourage and promote planting, maintenance and management of trees in municipalities and counties within Montana according to industry standards

Solicit funds for and promote association projects and activities.

MUCFA is a volunteer organization whose vision is to provide "All Things Urban Forestry in Montana." MUCFA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that works closely with the Urban and Community Forestry Programs of both the U.S.Forest Service Urban and the Montana DNRC.

MUCFA's mission is to promote management, expansion and improvement of community forests for the benefit of all Montanas.

MUCFA is a membership driven organization. MUCFA encourages individuals, organizations and communities across Montana to become members and get involved.
