​Tree Pest & Disease Diagnostics Bootcamp for Urban and Community Forestry Professionals
Four Locations Across Montana
MUCFA and MSU Extension is offering an in-person Tree Pest & Disease Diagnostics Bootcamp designed for urban professionals, municipal staff, tree board members, and partners responsible for tree health and management. This hands-on training will be offered in four Montana locations to increase access across the state.
What You'll Learn
This bootcamp focuses on building practical diagnostic skills to help participants identify and respond to common tree health issues in Montana communities. Topics include:

Tree Identification

Abiotic Disorders (Environmental & Herbicide)

Nutrient deficiency concepts
-
Applying disease and insect diagnostic concepts through real-world case studies in Montana
Instruction will combine classroom learning, applied examples, and facilitated discussion with participants​.

Registration Information

Registration Fee: $ 25.00 (helps cover meals and diagnosis supplies that participants will be able to take home)

Late Registration Fee: $ 50.00 (applies one week prior to each training)

Capacity: Limited to 25 participants per location
